Estate planning can feel overwhelming, so I've designed a process that makes it as clear and supportive as possible, right from our very first conversation.
Step 1: Discovery Call
We start with a short, no-pressure call. This is your chance to share what's most important to you, and my chance to explain how I can help. Together, we'll decide if moving forward makes sense.
Step 2: Life & Legacy Planning Session
Our first working meeting is more than paperwork, it's a guided conversation where we explore your family, your assets, and your goals. You'll leave with a clear picture of what you have, what's at risk, and how to protect it.
Beforehand, I'll send you a simple prep packet (by email) to help you gather the key information. Most clients tell me that filling this out is the first time they've ever seen their whole financial life in one place.
Step 3: Review & Choose Your Plan
At the end of your planning session, I'll outline planning options tailored to you. You choose the level of protection and guidance that feels right, nothing more, nothing less. Clear, flat-fee pricing means no surprises.
Step 4: Drafting & Signing
Once you've chosen your plan, I put everything into place. We'll meet again (remotely, from the comfort of your home) to review your documents carefully and make sure every detail is right before signing.
Step 5: Asset Alignment
An estate plan only works if it's connected to your real life. I'll help you make sure your accounts, beneficiary designations, and property are properly titled to match your plan.
Step 6: Ongoing Care
Life changes and your plan should, too. Every three years, I invite you back for a free review to be sure everything still reflects your wishes and circumstances. This way, your plan actually works when your family needs it.
The heart of my process is simple: clarity, care, and connection. You won't be handed a stack of papers to figure out on your own. Instead, you'll have a guide beside you, every step of the way.
