Helping Fathers Navigate Divorce, Custody & Paternity Matters

It's no secret that fathers often face an uphill battle when it comes to custody, parenting time, and child support in Massachusetts. Some of the obstacles are built into the system. Others come from informal bias, and both can have serious consequences for fathers and their children.

I want you to know: you're not alone. You're not invisible. And you're not without rights.

If you're a dad facing separation, divorce, or parenting disputes, I offer experienced, compassionate, and strategic legal support. I've spent decades helping fathers protect their relationships with their children, even in the most high-conflict or emotionally complex situations. I don't act as your lawyer or appear in court, but I do help you strategize with your attorney, prepare your response, and stay grounded so you can navigate the process with strength and clarity.

Courts sometimes lean on outdated assumptions, like awarding more time to the “primary caregiver.”

In my consulting role, I'll help you understand your legal rights and your next best step by clarifying your goals, organize the information you'll need to move your case forward effectively. prepare for conversations with your lawyer, and frame your requests in a way that keeps the focus on the child's best interests. Through consulting, I'll help you understand the steps, prepare for conversations with your lawyer,

I Only Take Two Family Law Matters at a Time

Because of the emotional intensity and high stakes involved in family law cases, I intentionally limit myself to handling no more than two matters at a time. This allows me to give each client the focused attention their case deserves.

If I am at capacity, your application will be placed on a waitlist, and I'll let you know when an opening becomes available.

Application Process

If you're interested in working together, here's how the process works:

  • You will email me and provide a brief summary of your circumstances.

  • If I am at capacity, your application will be placed on a waitlist, and I'll let you know when an opening becomes available.

  • If I can take on a new consulting client, a $250 non-refundable application fee is required to begin.

  • You'll send me a more complete written narrative about your situation and why you are seeking my assistance at this time.

  •  I will send you a link to schedule a 30-minute consultation call with me.

  • During that call, I'll offer initial guidance and we will see if we are a good fit for ongoing consulting

My Fees

  • My hourly consulting rate is $475.00/hour and I do not believe in taking retainers.  I will bill as we go, and you will pay your invoice within 7 days of receipt.

Fathers' Consulting: The Courage to Stand Steady

For fathers facing custody disputes, false allegations, or high-conflict co-parenting, courage can feel like a daily test. The system isn't always fair, and the emotional toll is heavy.

My consulting work is designed to help you:

  • See the road ahead with clarity
  • Prepare strategically for self-representation or with your legal team
  • Show up grounded, confident, and knowledgeable in every interaction

This isn't about fighting for the sake of fighting — it's about protecting your relationship with your children and navigating a system that can be overwhelming.

Family Law, By Application Only

In addition to estate planning, I continue to serve a small number of family law clients across Massachusetts. These services are offered by application only and focus primarily on fathers navigating custody, parenting disputes, or high-conflict situations.

Supporting fathers is pro-family, not anti-mother. Courts often lack resources tailored to dads, and I believe children benefit when both parents are supported. That's why my family law work includes remote mediation, consulting, and custody coaching.

If you are interested in becoming a family law client, please complete the intake form. I personally review all applications and respond within two business days.
